Supporting Neighborhood Groups
We connected with Temescal Neighbors and the Telegraph Business Improvement District to plant over 20 new street trees and shrubs throughout the Temescal neighborhood. Through the dedicated work of neighbors, we supported a joyful, hands-on project to green the neighborhood.
Community members fundraised to cover projects costs, such as concrete cutting, mulch and trees. With our support, neighbors also led a major outreach effort to identify eligible sites and neighbors who were interested in watering and taking care of new trees.
